Privacy Policy

Last updated 21 September 2026 · App: FitMax · iOS bundle: com.fitmax.sameh

FitMax is made by Aurelion Labs, the one-person studio of Mehmet Sancaktutan. There are no accounts. Your profile, your photos, your reports and your training log stay on your phone. Photos leave the phone only when you ask for an analysis, and this page says exactly where they go and what happens to them.

What leaves your phone

DataWhere it goes, and why
The body photos you take or pick for an analysisSent to FitMax's own service, hosted on Vercel, and forwarded to Anthropic — the AI provider — to produce the analysis. They are processed and answered. Our server passes them through and does not store them.
Your profile — age, sex, height, weight, goal, training history — and the measurements the phone took from the photosSent with the photos so the scores have context. For a training programme, the same profile and the scores of your latest report go to Anthropic together with the answers you gave about days, equipment and goal. Your name is included in a programme request only so the programme can address you.
An anonymous purchase identifier and your subscription statusHeld by RevenueCat and by the App Store or Google Play, so the app knows whether your subscription is active. Because there is no account, it is not tied to a name or an email address. Payment details are handled by the store and never reach us.
Network metadata — IP address, request timing, error classProcessed by the hosting provider to run and protect the service. Requests carry no user identifier: nothing on the server can tie an analysis to you.

Location, contacts and identity are never collected. There is no account, no advertising SDK, no analytics profile and no tracking. The skeleton measurements, the face crop for your avatar and the placement of scores on your photo all run on the phone with Apple's on-device vision framework; nothing leaves for that.

What stays on your phone

Your name and profile; the three photos of every analysis and its report; your programmes, workout logs, personal records and favourites; your language and timer settings. On iPhone the photos are kept in the app's private storage, excluded from iCloud backup and encrypted while the device is locked. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.

Who else sees it

Nothing is sold. Nothing goes to advertisers. No profile is built about you, and your photos are never used to train anything of ours.

How long it is kept

On your phone: until you delete it or uninstall the app. On our server: photos and profile data are not retained once the reply is sent — there is no cache and no file under your name. Anthropic handles what it receives under its own API data-retention policy, and the hosting provider keeps operational logs under its own retention policy.

Your rights

You can see everything the app holds inside the app, change your profile in Settings, and delete it all — see Delete your data. If you are in Türkiye (KVKK) or the EEA (GDPR) these rights are yours by law; we apply them to everyone wherever they live. Write to desteksancaktutan@gmail.com, including the Support ID shown in Settings if your request concerns a purchase.

Children

FitMax is for adults. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them. Body photos of anyone under 18 must not be submitted.

Not a medical service

FitMax is not a medical device. Its scores and its body-fat figure are estimates from photographs, not measurements or diagnoses, and nothing in a report is medical advice. Ask a doctor before changing your diet or training because of a number.

Changes

If this policy changes materially the date at the top changes with it, and the app points here again.
